In the heart of Philippi, a transformative, innovative initiative is taking root: The Cape Town Lived Experience Council. This innovative program–a product of the partnership between Incarceration Nations Network –brings together a diverse group of individuals: judges, correctional officers, community leaders, policymakers, youth from the community, survivors of community harm and formerly incarcerated leaders.

The Justice Ambassadors High School Workshop Series is a 12 week seminar that seeks to empower and raise awareness among high school students, particularly those who are directly impacted by school suspensions/expulsions, truancy students or students facing out-of-school challenges like poverty, community gun violence, foster care involvement and legal system contact.
